Sendy 7.1.3 now lets you choose Anthropic’s Claude alongside OpenAI for its built-in AI features for email creation, subject line generation, campaign report analysis, and content improvement suggestions.
If you already use OpenAI, adding Claude does not replace your existing key. Sendy stores the OpenAI and Claude keys independently for each brand, so you can switch between the two providers without reconfiguring your existing OpenAI setup.
Version 7.1.3 also fixes several operational and security issues. Campaigns sending at a slow rate could previously display “Sending interrupted” even while delivery continued in the background on some hosting setups. Sendy has improved the connection handling so the campaign status more accurately reflects ongoing delivery.
Preference-center changes now trigger the autoresponder sequence for the newly selected list. Sendy also fixed an issue where the AI settings panel remained visible after you disabled AI features for a brand.
The release also improves authentication and authorization around campaign sending and scheduling, adds CSRF protection to scheduling requests, and improves validation of subscription custom fields and cookie values. It also updates the geolocation database and improves backward compatibility for database transactions.
