Google Sheets Mailchimp Integration

To integrate Mailchimp with Google Sheets and export or import your Mailchimp contacts, you can use the Mailchimp for Google Sheets Exporter app available on the Google Workspace Marketplace. Follow the steps below to install and set up the app.

Using the Google Workspace App - Mailchimp to Google Sheets Export

1. Go to the Mailchimp for Google Sheets Exporter app on the Google Workspace Marketplace.
2. Install the app and grant the required permissions to connect your Google Sheets account.
3. After completing the connection, log in to your Mailchimp account, create an API key, and copy your Audience ID. (You can find your Audience ID under Mailchimp → Audience → Settings → Audience name and defaults. You can also find your API Key under Account → Extras → API keys).
4. Open any Google Sheets spreadsheet.
5. Click Extensions, then select Mailchimp for Google Sheets Exporter from the drop-down menu.
6. In the sidebar that appears, enter your Mailchimp API Key and Audience ID, then click Save Credentials.
7. Click Connect, then click Export to import your Mailchimp contacts into Google Sheets.
8. Your contacts will automatically load into your spreadsheet.
9. You can enable Auto Refresh to automatically update your spreadsheet whenever new contacts are added to your Mailchimp audience.

NOTE: You can enable Auto Sync to automatically export any new contacts added to your Mailchimp audience to Google Sheets by clicking "Enable Auto Refresh Button" 

Exporting contacts from Google Sheets to Mailchimp Audience.

• First, make sure your sheet has the correct columns by clicking the Export Contacts Now button. If there are any contacts added, delete them for now since you are interested in migrating contacts to Mailchimp
• Add your email contacts to the Email address column
• Click the Import Sheet to Mailchimp button.
• Wait for a few minutes and check the import status
• If a contact is in your archived contacts, it will not be moved to your active audience. Instead, the contact will only be updated in the archived list.
• You may also encounter an error if you recently deleted an email address from your Mailchimp audience and then try to import it back into the same audience.
