Resend’s official Codex plugin for ChatGPT is now available. You can use it to connect your Resend account directly to OpenAI Codex and ChatGPT.
Previously, if you wanted the full Resend experience in Codex, you had to install the MCP server and each Resend skill separately. The new plugin combines everything into one installation, making setup faster and easier.
After connecting your Resend account, you can:
- Send and receive emails from conversations.
- Check email delivery logs and investigate failed deliveries or bounced emails.
- Create and manage automations and events.
- Build and send email broadcasts.
- Generate email templates, including designs from Figma.
- Add and organize contacts and audience segments.
- Verify sending domains and review DNS settings.
- Rotate and manage API keys.
- Test webhook events.
The plugin also enables Resend’s built-in skills automatically. These include tools for React Email templates, email authentication best practices such as SPF, DKIM, and DMARC, inbound email processing, the Resend SDK, and the Resend CLI.
