UKVI email reply on being unable to conclude application due to biometric error

Dear Regarding visa – GWF For….,

The UK Decision Making Centre is currently assessing the application submitted by the above-named. We are unable to conclude the application at this time as we require additional information. 

Unfortunately we have experienced technical errors on your application There has been a biometric error and we are unable to process your application. 

In order for us to provide you with a UK visa we require you to complete a new application and complete biometrics again under the new GWF reference. I will contact the visa application centre (VAC) where you originally applied to release your passport for you to make the new application. 

We will arrange a refund for this application 

We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused you and want to assure you that as soon as your new application comes through we will fast track this as priority. 

Please respond back to this email address once you have a new GWF reference number so we can process your application as urgent.
