How It Works - Mailchimp to Google Sheets
- Open any Google Sheets™.
- Launch the add-on from your Extensions menu.
- Add your Mailchimp key and audince id.
- Click Export Now and your audience load into your spreadsheet automatically!
Google Sheets to Mailchimp Export
Follow these steps to import your contacts from Google Sheets to Mailchimp:
- Click the Export Contacts Now button to create the required columns in your Google Sheet. If any contacts are exported, delete them for now since you are only migrating contacts to Mailchimp.
- Add your email contacts to the Email Address column.
- Click the Import Sheet to Mailchimp button.
- Wait a few minutes, then check the import status.
Important:
- If a contact is in your archived contacts, it will not be moved to your active audience. Instead, it will only be updated in the archived list.
- You may encounter an error if you recently deleted an email address from your Mailchimp audience and then try to import it back into the same audience.
