Slack Mailchimp Integration

To integrate Slack with Mailchimp, follow these steps.

Using the Official Slack Integration

1. Log into your Slack account and navigate to your workspace settings.
2. Click on "Apps and Integrations" to view the list of compatible apps.
3. Search for "Mailchimp" in the app directory and select the official Mailchimp app.
4. Click "Add to Slack" and then authorize the integration to connect your Mailchimp account.
5. After authenticating, pick the specific lists you want to monitor and choose which notifications (such as subscribes, unsubscribes, or campaign sending status) you want posted to your Slack channel.
6. If you encounter missing activity (after March 20, 2026), check your subscribed event settings in the Mailchimp app within Slack to ensure they are still active.

Using Zapier

1. If you need advanced triggers like "New Subscriber" initiating a specific Slack action, visit Zapier and select Mailchimp + Slack as your trigger app.
2. Choose a trigger event such as "New Subscriber" or "Campaign Sent" and then select Slack as your action app to send a channel message.
